Esther L. Mason, 74, Edwardsville, KS, died Tuesday October 30, 2007 in Independence, MO.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie, KS.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, KS.

Esther was born on April 17, 1933 in Pilot Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Francis E. and Nellie J. (Detrick) Wassmann.  She was a physical therapy assistant at Parkway Nursing Center, Edwardsville, KS, and retired in 1998.   She was preceded in death by her son, Ray Chambers, in 1971 and her daughter, Cheri Brown, in 2006.

Survivors include 2 sons, Ronald Chambers, Kansas City, KS and Robert Chambers, Basehor, KS; 1 brother, Jo H. Wassmann, Belmont, Mississippi; 1 sister, Marie White, Independence, MO; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
