Jo Ann Starcher, 79, Tonganoxie, Passed away Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

Service will be 2 pm Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.  Burial will follow in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the Quisenberry Chapel.

Jo Ann was born December 31, 1927 in Elsmore, KS, the daughter of Herbert D. and Lena E. (Cunningham) Barnett.  She was a member of the Tonganoxie Chamber of Commerce and worked as a book keeper for the Rural Water District #9 and S&S Body Shop.  Jo Ann was united in marriage on April 24, 1948 in Kansas City, KS to Billy G. Starcher who preceded her in death on July 9,1983.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry and Ron Starcher, both of Tonganoxie; one daughter, Dixie Jones, McLouth, KS; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
