Katherine Watson, 61, Tonganoxie, KS died Sunday, September 9, 2007 in Kansas City, KS. 

Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday at Village Community Church, 115^th & Leavenworth Rd., Kansas City, KS.  Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie.  The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Church.

Katherine was born May 28, 1946 in Ellinwood, KS, the daughter of Francis and Kathryn (Hagen) Broderick.  She was a paraprofessional for USD #500, Kansas City, KS and a member of Village Community Church.  She was united in marriage May 31, 1969 in Shawnee, KS to Dan K. Watson.

She is survived by her husband, Dan, of the home; son, Sam and wife Melinda, Bonner Springs, KS; three brothers, David and wife, Linda Broderick, Denver CO, Michael and wife, Pam Broderick, San Marcos, TX and Tom and wife, Patty Broderick, Lenexa, KS; three sisters, Carol and husband, Roger Burell, Phoenix, AZ, Ann Liable, Raleigh, NC and Phyliss and husband, Jim Coman, Branson, MO: and two grandchildren, Madison and Elijah Watson.
