Lawrence Joseph Budenosky, 83, Tonganoxie, KS, died Wednesday October 31, 2007 at his home.

 

Funeral services will be 10 am Friday November 2, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie, KS.  Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, KS, with a Rosary at 6 pm.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Tonganoxie, KS. 

 

Lawrence was born March 12, 1924 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Anthony and Margaret (Lynch) Budenosky.  He served in US Army during WWII with the Combat Engineers.  He was united in marriage to Iris Schultz on November 6, 1948.  She survives of the home.  He was a bulldozer operator for List and Clark Construction, Overland Park, KS, where he retired after 52 years.  He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie, KS and a member of the Local 101 Hoisting Engineers.  Lawrence was preceded in death by his grandson, Steve Rohrer, in 2001.

 

Survivors include his wife, Iris, of the home; 3 sons, Larry, Manhattan, KS, Mike, Dallas, TX and Brian, Manhattan, KS; 2 daughters, Linda Bentch, Buckner, MO and Pamela Simanowitz, Leavenworth, KS; 2 sisters, Vera Wallace, Overland Park, KS and Liz Johnson, Portland, OR; 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
