Dorothy Cora Bloomberg, 85, Tonganoxie, KS, formerly of Stuttgart, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, KS.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie, KS.

Dorothy was born April 12, 1922 in Navarino, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Theresia (Zarnotsey) Horvath.  She was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church, Tonganoxie.  She was united in marriage on June 9, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to F.M. “Fritz” Bloomberg.  He preceded her in death on October 31, 1996.

Survivors include one son, Jon Bloomberg, Cabot, AR; one daughter, Ingrid McMahon, Tonganoxie, KS; one sister, Mary Schabowski, Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
