Flora M. Cooper, 91, Basehor, KS, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2008 at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday February 16, 2008 at the Fairmount United Methodist Church, 155^th and Myers Drive, Leavenworth, KS.  Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Basehor, KS.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Flora was born July 19, 1916 in Clay County, Alabama, the daughter of Etheridge and Mary (Wicker) Patterson.  She was united in marriage to Jack D. Cooper on March 23, 1950 in Columbus, Mississippi.  She was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church, Leavenworth, KS.

Survivors include her husband, Jack D. Cooper, Basehor, KS; two daughters, Katherine L. Cooper and Janice D. Walker, both of Basehor, KS; one sister, Genell Kingrey, Gretna, VA; and two grandchildren.
