Kenneth Eugene Mahoney, 75, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Monday February 11, 2008 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, February 14,2008 at the Tonganoxie Christian Church.  Burial will follow in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, 4^th and Delaware, Tonganoxie.

Kenny was born March 11, 1932 in Camden Point, MO, the son of Calman Eugene and Lucinda Virginia (McAlexander) Mahoney.  He attended the University of Kansas for four years.  Kenny was a US Navy Korean War Veteran.  He was united in marriage to Barbara Quisenberry on September 9, 1951 in Tonganoxie, KS.  He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Tonganoxie, KS from 1958-1987.  He was a member of the Tonganoxie Christian Church and he was the past Master of the Henri Masonic Lodge #190, Tonganoxie, KS.  He was also a member of the Tonganoxie School Board for 8 years.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mahoney, Tonganoxie, KS; his son, Michael Mahoney and wife, Madeline, Oxnard, CA; two daughters, Teresa Mahoney, Emporia, KS and Melinda Craig and husband, Dan, Tonganoxie, KS; one sister, Dorothy Smith, Peabody, KS; and eight grandchildren
