Linnie Herrmann, 89, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Quisenberry Funeral Home, 4^th and Delaware, Tonganoxie.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be in Sepulcher Cemetery, Gretna, Nebraska.

Linnie was born January 29, 1919 in Grofton, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Minnie Groth Boardman.  She was a homemaker and had previously worked in a restaurant and for Western Electric in Omaha, NE.

Survivors include her husband, Elton Herrmann, of the home; her son, Dennis Lukowski, Tonganoxie, KS; and two daughters, Teddy Waugh, Paxton, NE and Kathy Jo Eiler, Reno, NV; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Bolkavic, Omaha, Neb.; a stepson, John Herrmann, Omaha, Neb.; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
