Stacy E. Potter, 77, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Fowler Cemetery, McLouth, KS.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, 4^th and Delaware, Tonganoxie. 

Stacy was born November 18, 1930 in Clinton, KS, the son of Carlyle and Vera Potter.  He was a 1949 graduate of Douglas County High School.  Stacy was a US Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War.  He worked as a service technician for General Electric Corp., Kansas City, KS.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Hedgepath Potter, and two brothers, Lyle and Beryl Potter.

Survivors include his son, Stacy Potter, Jr., Kansas City, MO; daughter, Denise Mead, Tonganoxie; brother, Kenny Potter, Warrensburg, MO; sister, Jane Ryan, Emporia, KS; one granddaughter and one great grandson.
